Our ancestors believed that the ocean was a bridge that connected all people and made peace with all nations. Our Okinawan drums send forth a wish of peace to each and every person with our sincere appreciation in harmony with one another

Okinawa, comprised of 150 islands, lies in the southernmost prefecture of Japan. The Okinawa islands sit in the Pacific Ocean and have a distinct culture of their own, much different from mainland Japan.
